After last week’s brilliant sunrises, I was terribly disappointed to find my Mumbai cast in a pall of grey smog. Without even the slightest chill, it’s gloomy and grey almost like a monsoon day. I do hope this smog clears up else we’ll be having a winter of coughs and colds.
A brilliant swirl of pink and gold
Feel the glow of the morning sun
A glorious sunrise
And today a sky that’s grey and glum
My city’s vanished in the smog!
You know it’s winter in Mumbai when you see
red carrots in the market
Tibetan Sweater sellers on the road
young girls wearing scarves
the city drowns in smog
I’m linking this post to Skywatch Friday which has some amazing skies from round the world.

When she’s not busy chasing her grandchildren who love making her run around, she indulges in her passions of reading, writing, meeting friends and watching movies. And somewhere between all this she enjoys travelling and cooking!
