Wednesday evening sunset at Marine Drive

I normally don’t get a chance to walk on Marine Drive in the middle of the week but this week I was lucky and  when the opportunity presented itself, I grabbed it with both hands.

When you see the pictures below you can see why. There was a cool breeze blowing even though the sun was still visible. There were hardly any people on the pavement and I enjoyed the brisk walk at the end of the day in the middle of the week.

The gorgeous colours of the sky before sunset

These new LED lamps have been in the news lately: apparently they don’t
illuminate much and their white light detracts from the heritage value of this iconic promenade

Birds going home like the people on the road below

Isn’t this a sunset to die for?
