Reblogging : A Rat’s Nibble: Tea Tales from Teabox

My friend K is a die hard tea drinker. At any given time she’s ready to have a cuppa and is always willing to offer you one too whenever you drop by. I myself am not too hysterical about tea but I do enjoy a good cup of tea. And by good, I mean a nicely flavoured tea be it the rustic boiled Indian chai, the exotic spiced masala chai, the delicate aromatic English tea or the nuanced flavours of Chinese tea.

Most of the teas I drink have been gifted to me so I hardly know where to get a good tea from so I was surprised and happy to read this blog post from a Bangalore based blogger who gives a detailed account of a visit to the Bangalore Tea Fest where she found the most amazing teas and sources of good teas.

A granny who always sees the humour in life and tries to do things differently. When others make cupcakes, this granny makes banana fritters. When she’s not busy chasing her grandchildren who love making her run around, she indulges in her passions of reading, writing, meeting friends and watching movies. And somewhere between all this she enjoys travelling and cooking!

  1. I’m not particularly crazy about tea although I can’t make do without drinking two cups a day. There’s nothing quite as refreshing as a freshly brewed tea. But my taste is specifically restricted to milked tea and do not prefer green tea or even black tea.
That is a nice post for any tea lover though 🙂
